2021 Cadillac XT6 gets a 2.0-liter turbo and cheaper base trim
The 2021 Cadillac XT6 is going to be a bit more attainable with the introduction of a new base trim level and a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
The new four-cylinder is the same 2.0-liter that powers the XT4. It generates 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque and is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is optional.
The 2021 XT6 also gets a new Luxury base trim level, which joins the Sport and Premium Luxury trim levels. The Luxury trim level comes standard with 18-inch wheels, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, tri-zone climate control and leatherette seats.
The 2021 Cadillac XT6 also gets wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Lastly there are three new colors to choose from: Dark Moon Blue Metallic, Wilder and Infrared Tintcoat.
The 2021 XT6 starts at $48,990 for the Luxury trim level.
